The Minnesota AFL-CIO General Board recently took action on the state Labor Federation’s next round of 2020 election endorsements for both Congress and the Minnesota Legislature.
“The fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic has shown how vital it is to elect leaders who will respond to working peoples’ concerns,” said Minnesota AFL-CIO President Bill McCarthy. “The Minnesota AFL-CIO and our affiliated unions are mobilizing a massive effort to engage union members on the importance of this election and to get out the vote.”
Candidates endorsed by the Minnesota AFL-CIO have demonstrated a firm commitment to protecting working Minnesotans’ freedom to organize and support policies to create family sustaining jobs.
